getting worn out,
- don't want to ski anymore due to previous skiing injuries,
- don't know how to ski,
- have a disability,
- want to try something new and taste the unique
experience that is skibiking
Apart from the cost of a lift pass, no additional expensive equipment is required. You can wear your normal winter outdoor ski clothing, such as: jackets, salopettes, gloves, goggles, headwear, etc. with a pair of strong walking boots. You may also prefer to wear a mountain bike or motorcycle helmet.
The STRMTG accreditation gives access to all French lifts systems. However, as skibiking is a novelty in some areas, we strongly recommend you contact your preferred resort first for permission before booking accommodation or paying for a lift pass.
-Here are just some of the resorts that allowed skibiking in the 2011-12 season: Morzine/Avoriaz, Flaine, Combloux, Les Contamines/Hauteluce, Val d ' Isère, Le Grand Bornand, La Clusaz, Courchevel …
A skibike must have a brake control, good glide and good suspension to be enjoyable. It should also be compatible with other snow users. We firmly believe we have achieved this goal. Our skibikes have virtually the same path of evolution as a skier. " When you brake, you don't damage the piste ". It integrates perfectly into any ski area.
